The Design Specification is the most crucial element of the Investigate phase of the Design Cycle

A good Design Specification should include information that you learned about the task/problem from your research.
It is a list of requirements that your design ideas must meet plus a list of constraints that you have. It is the check list that you need to use when you start to make your design ideas.
After your research you can develop a Design Specification.

SCORE

Piano:
The first tool I tried was the piano.   The piano is a fairly simple instrument, which is why I gave it an eight for simplicity.   The keys are simply pushed down with your fingers, and it makes beautiful music.   This music is always inspiring to me.   For ease to play, I gave it an eight as well.   This is because I find it very easy to play and it doesn't seem to frustrate me very much, so I would be less prone to becoming angry and giving up.
For ease to make songs with it I gave it an eight.   I gave it an eight because in my experiences it has been really easy to make songs with the piano.   I t is also very relaxing and there are a lot of various sounds that you can use, on a keyboard.  There is also very simple chords, and you can play that can make beautiful music.  So for the chords I gave it a five.  I n total the piano got thirty points.

Guitar:
The second tool I tried was the guitar.  The guitar is actually a lot more complicated than the piano.  Although this gives me more room for experimentation it's simplicity is less than that of the piano.  For simplicity I gave it a five.  I t was a five because of the six strings and the frets that you press along with plucking or strumming.  This instrument requires more hand coordination than simply pressing the keys on the piano.
For ease to play I gave the guitar an eight because I find it easier to play and the notes are easier to remember than the piano.  For chords I gave it a nine because I find that there are many more sounds that you can make with the guitar.  There’s a lot of room for creativity
