Lyrics
IPCEA
IPCEA
thats the acronym to remember
whenever youre wearing thin
looking for that somethin
to build an awesome product
it starts with I
investigate
analyze
dont create!
P is next
this stands for plot
3 products is all you need
to hit the jackpot
c is my favorite
thats where you create it
one of the three
but just one thatll fit
the A is attitude
through it it all
without the a it would all just fall
THANK YOU MRS. HINOJOSA!

Create reflection
i finally was able to decide on the song that i wanted. so i will need to create lyrics. i am thinking to take ms. hinojosas advice and make an acronym like IPCEA! that could also double as the title of the song. and i also wanna thank ms. hinojosa in my song for being the rockstar of every class. i was also thinking about using a capo but then im not sure because my voice isnt so high, and there would be a lot of contrast between my voice and the music. i dont want that. so far i have almost completed the music. i deserve a 4.
Design reflection
so far i have two songs designed. these two songs are really getting to me because i have been playing them for over a hour. i have progressed a little bit with the chords and the beginning was fairly simple. its when i got to the middle when i got stuck. it goes:
simple G
simple C
simple E
simple A
G
C
E
A
.
.
.
then after that im not sure where to take it. well thats the one that im liking the most. the other one goes A
D
A
E
D
D
E
and i still have to design one more.

and i still have to design one more.
Survey questions
my survey will consist of 5 questions that i came up with but i will not give them the survey until after the presentation.
what were the steps of the design cycle?
what was the acronym?
was the music catchy?
do you know how people create products now?
am i a good musician?

today in class i created a gantt chart which will show me how to manage my time. this gantt chart is a useful tool when im gonna try to hurry up. the gantt chart that i made shows that creating the project will take me the longest so ill have to try a good method that i learned to write a guitar song. the one ting that might slow me down the most is frustration. the frustration of not being able to make a catchy tune, or lyrics that stick. i figure hat the guitar chords should be repetitive, because those are the ones that stick. this will help my sixth graders remember the song and the design cycle.

Today i completed investigate. i also finished my comparison of the tools that i wanted to use. The guitar or the piano. i found the piano very difficult to make new songs with, but with the guitar it was simpler and easier. i believe i deserve a 3 because as a result of my trial and error i found the right instrument but i could not bring them to class to study them further. so this class period will be spent trying to find reasons that i should go with the guitar instead to enforce my decision. reasons i went for guitar is because chords are easy to play.

This gantt chart shows how i must manage my time. the create process took me the longest because it is somewhat difficult to create a song out of the blue. what would take me the least amount of time would be to grade the surveys. this is because i know the answers so i will know what grade they get almost automatically. This gantt chart was very accurate because i took about the mount of time i calculated on each one of these.
